"This restaurant is up a slope and offers a great view and solid local food. Do go there at sunset and have your dinner. They serve a good selection of local dishes paired with rice, tasty and reasonably priced. Service was quick and polite too. Recommended."

"The place is situated on a hillside so you have to climb up a set of stairs to reach it. We came for dinner at around sunset. There's a great sea facing deck where you can enjoy views of the bay. We had a beef soup with rice which was not bad. The coconut drink unfortunately tasted a bit off to me so I switched to a different drink. Staff are attentive and service reasonably prompt. The food we had was good but did not wow us. Prices were also a bit steep."

"Went to Senja Eatery around 5pm, nice atmosphere around this timing, still quiet. We were fanning ourself and the staff face the fan directly to us (what a thoughtful staff here). We ordered French Fries; Pisang Goreng; Nasi Goreng; Mie Goreng. Imma tell u, the food is the best in Labuan Bajo. The place is complete, with toilet and handwash basin. Staff is friendly and quick to serve."

"I stay four days in Labuan Bajo, exploring the street three or four times. Of all the restaurants I visited, Senja Eatery is the best and most authentic Indonesian food I could find. The Sambal Matah was fantastic, and the waiters are incredibly patient, always smiling, and even taught me a few great Indonesian phrases. I ate dinner there twice, and all five dishes were delicious. Senja Eatery will definitely be my first choice on my next trip to Labuan Bajo."
